Jocelyn Morales
Cello
Biography
Jocelyn Morales is a music educator and performer based in Long Beach, CA. They work as a private cello teacher and string coach all across Orange County and the Greater Los Angeles Area. They enjoy performing in orchestral and chamber music ensembles, particularly string quartets and piano trios, and they greatly enjoy coaching chamber music ensembles. Jocelyn has performed at several venues such as Winifred Smith Hall, Geiringer Hall, and the Carpenter Center. They have performed as a section cellist with the Long Beach Symphony Orchestra at the Terrace Theater as well as for the Los Angeles Violoncello Society. They have also collaborated with several cellists, such as Armen Ksajikian, Lars Hoefs, and Yoshika Masuda. They pursued their undergraduate studies in Cello Performance at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of esteemed cellist Joon Sung Jun.
